FOOD & DRINK

A café and two restaurants will feature some of the Hudson Valley’s most renowned chefs and the best in farm to table cuisine. Much of the produce will be grown on site or sourced locally, within a 20-mile radius. 

Russ and Daughters is a New York culinary and cultural icon, known for the highest quality appetizing foods and traditional baked goods. The home of bagels and lox since 1914, Russ & Daughters has been continuously owned and operated by four generations

The Arc, situated on the top of the Clubhouse, will be the central hub, where guests can enjoy far-reaching views across the mountains and be served ‘roof to table’ cuisine from its green roof produce. 

Post and Beam restaurant will enjoy 360-degree views and, with comfy sofas and fireplaces, will be the ideal place for a cosy meal or a hangout for the day. 

SHELTER is surrounded by award winning producers, wineries, distilleries and cideries offering the best in local produce to tempt even the most discerning gastronomes. ​

 

Across the region, celebrated chefs and restaurants are renowned for their farm-fresh menus and connections with local agriculture, and the valley is credited with popularizing the ‘farm-to-table’ movement. 

 

The famous 80-mile-long Shawangunk Wine Trail is right on the doorstep of SHELTER and offers the chance to try many of the world-class wines that the Hudson Valley has to offer.
